When
Prince arrived in Arizona, he didn’t look like the stallion we fell in love
with. He looked really rough, it was obvious that Prince had been
mistreated and abused! We
put Prince in his own ½ acre corral, where he would run around, roll in the
Arizona dust and sand. For the first few weeks, Prince's favorite activity was just standing in the warm
Arizona sun! Daytime temps for Nov in AZ are usually around 70 degrees..

Prince
didn’t seem to like men very much, but twice a day, Chuck and I would walk
through his corral on the way to feed other horses. Prince would come
to greet me (Judy) with a sweet nicker and stand there to get his back and neck scratched. It
took six (6) months of TLC, but Prince looked like the beautiful Sulphur Stallion he was
meant to be... |
