DESERT DUNS HORSE ASSOCIATION

Dun Dreamin' is a Dun-Factor Sulphur Horse

Dreamin' is a half Sulphur horse, captive born in Utah, 2000. Like the ads say "he has it all", a wide dorsal stripe, dorsal barring, hooked ears, narrow face, leg bars, white socks, cob webbing, bi/tri colored mane/tail AND gentle, Dreamin' is just like a BIG puppy. Dreamin' is a gelding, 13H, a very strong and loves people.  Dreamin' is very gentle, considering he hasn't had any schooling, just a lot of TLC...    Characteristics of a Dun Horse

When Dreamin' was younger he liked to run. When he came past us,  all we heard was a swish!  Dreamin' broke his ankle, he got it caught in a Utah prairie dog hole and he fell during the night.  When we found him the next day he was limping and covered in mud.   Follow this link to pages of his operation and his recovery.        Site Map

Dreamin' getting a manicure!  Dreamin' out for a walk. Dreamin' can't wait to get to summer pasture.

It was early September (2008)  when the horses were freed from their pasture. We had baled all of the hay we  could stack, so we turned the horses loose to eat whatever. The like to come up by the house to get apples.
